The Friends of the Preble County Park District is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the newly created Preble County Park District.
Our members volunteered just shy of 3000 hours in 2023 assisting the Park District clear trails in the Garber Forest, building the infrastructure for the four bridges where the trail crosses Garber Run, constructing the handicapped accessible boardwalk, building the Eloo, and providing programs.

To inform and educate the public about the unique qualities of the Preble County Park District Parks including the natural, geological, biological, cultural, historical, and recreation features.
To encourage individuals and groups to participate in a cooperative volunteer program to promote and improve the parks within the Preble County Park District.

GARBER NATURE CENTER - The trails, trailhead parking and boardwalk are located at the rear of the property. Turn right at the entrance and follow the paved road 1/2 mile to the Garber Forest.
WAGERS PARK - When the entrance gate is closed during daylight hours, you may park at the entrance and hike back into the park.
